Day 22...January 4, 2014
Day
22....Morgan is doing better today. She isn't as agitated and physical
therapy has her up and going. I am sure she is loving a change of
scenery even if it's just the hall. Troy, Chan, and Kenzi went down
this morning. McCall is sick and Avery had her first basketball games
ever and was so awesome!! She smiled the whole time. So i stayed back
to catch up on home life. A crazy busy day! Morgan's
memory is great. Kenzi was trying to get her to eat more and when
Morgan said she was finished Kenzi said "we need you to eat more so they
can take that tube out" and Morgan responded with "well if I eat to
much I will get sick and that would be counter productive" Thats my
Morg! I was reading Morgan's recent letters home. We had asked her for
her favorite scripture for her mission plaque at church and this is the
one she sent...."Christ hath said:if ye will have faith in me ye shall
have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me"......For it is by
Faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by faith that angels appear
and minister unto men; wherefore, if these things have ceased wo be unto
the children of men, for it is because of unbelief, and all is vain.
Moroni 7:33&37. I realize that would have to be a big plaque but
it's perfect! I received this one week before her accident. It's funny
because her past letters almost are written for this accident to help
me. She is awesome! One more thing, I have many friends with
missionaries out serving. A couple of you have mentioned that you feel
bad to talk about your missionaries because you don't want me to feel
bad. That is so sweet to think of me but I LOVE missionary news!! It was
so exciting to see missionaries in action in Tahiti! It was the best
ever!! What great kids (they are all kids to me:) I have a new
appreciation for them. So please I love to hear about them. Morgan's
mission isn't finished. She is still going just using a different
approach;). Love to you all!!
