I Support Equality

And equal rights. To all schools in the state of Utah.

Except BYU.

I'm only wearing this sweatshirt because

A)  I'm cold.

My pink Utah cup is fantastic though, and those mittens?? Yeah, the Aggies are legit.  We have our own mittens.

May You Rest In Peace Avatar Zebra

Welcome to Friday nights!  Woo.  I settled down with my copies of the Ensign and the New Era, and a nice cup of dark chocolate peppermint hot chocolate; complete with mini marshmallows and whipped cream.

After I read my magazines I wanted to watch a lovely movie called the Errand of Angels, it's about a sister missionary. I could not find it anywhere. ANYWHERE. To watch.  I found a site that let me watch the first 10 minutes.  Bad idea.  It was just getting good!

It's mostly in German though... and I've taken German before... But subtitles would be appreciated.

Then I decided to learn some more French.  I popped my MP3 disk and brainwashed myself for a good hour.  I'm totally going to sleep with it on, does the whole subconsious learning actually work?  Eh, it's worth a try.

Then I walk upstairs
and found
my one and favorite brooch
broken.

I cried over my Avatar Zebra.
The leg is broken, and the pin is snapped.

I love it.

So naturally I went to find a replacement.

There's plenty of gold zebra brooches, but none with the leg back quite like mine.....

C'est la vie.

So I spent an hours pay on buying my replacement Avatar Zebra.

It's not as good as my estate sale steal. Close. But the legs aren't a lovely jumbled mess like my old one. I liked that about it.

May my old one rest in peace, I just wish it wasn't resting in pieces on my dresser....

Oodles of Luck

Generally people in the world all have the same amount of luck, right?  You flip a coin 100  times you'll probably get like 52 heads and 48 tails.  Pretty close to 50-50.  You enter your name into a raffle with over 1,000 people and you have a one in a thousand chance of winning.  Well... Let's say you win.  Sweet awesome!  That iPod is really spiffy.  Then you enter something again.  Wooo!! Real tickets!  And again, Hunger Games special showing!  Again, Sugarland tickets!  That's when you start to think... why did I even enter that?? I loathe county music.

Then you start to think.  Maybe I'm an oddly unlucky person.

So you push your luck and test it.

I've entered 3 give away drawing in the past week.

I've won two of them, and I'll find out about the third tomorrow.

Give away A) was a 50 dollar gift card to Shabby Apple

Give away B)  was a snazzy personalized notebook that's super adorable

In the past week.

Cut off my foot and call me a rabbit why don't 'cha.

Not really.  I like my feet.

Donuts...

Merry day after Christmas!

I hope you all had a fantastic day yesterday.  It was incredibly relaxing and surprisingly long.  My sisters woke my parents, brother, and I at a ridiculiously early time. Even earlier than I'll be waking up everyday on my mission.  Guys.  That's early.  Especially when some of us *cough* *cough* have little-kid-itis and can't go to sleep on Christmas Eve.  Hello 2.5 hours of sleep! Yessss.

For Christmas McCall, who happens to be the same age as my other sister (i'll explain later), got  a baby cakes maker for Christmas.  It's kinda like a grown-up Easy-Bake Oven... But it doesn't actually look like an oven.  Or use a light bulb to make your cakes.  I don't know how well a light bulb will cook anything. But.  She was using that today to make cake pops, and I convinced her to make donut batter so I could use our nifty donut pans.

Yeah... Fail.

Don't they look pretty?!

Eh... Not really...

Don't they look delicious?!

Eh... if you like doughy donuts.

Really though.  I liked you guys enough to take a bite out of the top donut for an astetically pleasing picture.  In all acutality I'd rather have eaten a meal worm.

Tomorrow I'll fix these.  They will be delicious!  And the glaze... won't look like glitter.

I'm Back!

I'm baaaaaaack!  Seriously.  For reals.  I've survived Ephraim.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Here's a run down of the past month.

A) Thanksgiving was great. Delicious.  Superb.

B)  Ready....  I GOT MY MISSION CALLLLLLLLLL!!

Any guesses (to those who don't know where I'm headed already?)

*drum roll please*

Tahiti, Papeete!

hehehehe. I will be teaching the gospel in paradise in the Tahitian and French languages, and my adventure begins on May 1st in the Provo MTC.  There will be much much more about this up until I leave.

C) I MOVED HOME.  Thank goodness.  I didn't look back.  A lot of people can love Snow College, I'm not one of them, it just wasn't for me.  Literally everytime I came home I cried once I reached the valley because I was so happy to be here, and cried when I had to leave.  USU is my home! I'll be headed there when I get back from my mission. Yesssss.

Until tomorrow, when I have more interesting things to say....
